NOTICE

Lealman is once again under attack by the cities looking to increase their tax base by stripping out Lealman's commercial properties.

Currently, there is a Legislative Delegation mandated Task Force comprised of St. Pete., Pinellas Park, the Lealman Fire District and County Commissioner Ken Welch. They are attempting to reach a consensus on annexation into Lealman and the viability of the Lealman Fire District should annexation take place. They are hoping to resolve the issues through inter-local agreements. Unfortunately, everyone at the table has a say except the people of Lealman.

We need to hear from you now so that we can express your choice at the Task Force meetings. Please let us know your opinion by completing the Annexation Survey.

Our regular site has been temporarily disabled in order to keep you informed on current negotiations.  We will be posting meeting times of all public events and hope all of you will find time to attend and comment at these meetings when possible.  To find necessary information from the regular site, click here.

Please familiarize yourselves with the specific annexation issues at hand and the history of annexation attempts.

The normal page links have been replaced with links only related to these issues and will be updated regularly, so please check back whenever you have time.
