The 5th LCA’s “Meet the Candidates” Event

PLEASE NOTE:  This is NOT accessible from 34th St. Heading North from 38th Avenue....go over the hump and take the first RIGHT (40th Avenue where the Pepsi Plant is). Bear sharply to the RIGHT (follow the curve) - go about a block and you will see the VFW Sign on the left.

On Wednesday October 3rd the most important event that the Lealman Community Association puts on will be at  the VFW (See attached map). This is our 5th event in 12 years.

 Why is this particular event so important to all of the residents of Lealman?  Because this is where all our elected officials, running for office in November, will be. Three County Commissioner seats are up for election. The Sheriff's is very important to the Lealman area because of the crime rate here. The State Senate and State Representative races, will determine who will be elected to the legislature and subsequently pass laws that can directly affect us.. All of the candidates will, in many ways, effect the improvements as well as the existence of Lealman.

I want to personally ask that you encourage your neighbors to come to this event. The more people that attend the more effective the LCA can be in representing this community in dealing with crime, prostitution, code enforcement and county involvement.

 We will  meet at the VFW just off of US19 near the Pepsi Plant. The doors will open at 6:30PM and we start the program at 7:00PM.

I’m attaching the list of candidates attending as well a map for you to pass out to your friends and neighbors.

 And yes there will be food and refreshments!
