When clients step into a salon and request a certain look, it鈥檚 often a style inspired by movie star or musician. 抖阴福利导航 students learn the fundamentals of esthetics and cosmetology in the classroom 鈥� but trends change by the year, the season, the month鈥�sometimes it seems by the day!

In my eyes, celebrities are a great resource for trends. They have experts helping them out 24/7 to look their best for the cameras and fans. Some stars get it right day after day 鈥� no matter the trends in hair and makeup. Others鈥�.not so much.

Below are my personal 鈥渉its and misses鈥� for 2011 celebrity trends 鈥� let me know what you think!

Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba聽is always a hit. To start, she was blessed with beautiful skin, but she always keeps it fresh and simple highlighting her natural features. She tends to use just the essentials: mascara, blush and gloss, and she rocks it every time!聽 She also has this philosophy with her hair; we always see her with loose, flowing waves or light braids and pinned back.聽 I just love her bohemian look!

Sandra Bullock

Sandra Bullock聽is always a hit as well.聽 When she鈥檚 out and about, she鈥檚 natural, feminine and real. When she鈥檚 dressed up on the red carpet, she鈥檚 classic, sleek and always well put together.

Britney Spears

What to say (other than 鈥渁 miss鈥�). She tries 鈥� and we鈥檙e happy for her career turnaround! But seriously: who does her extensions?!聽 The bonds (clips holding extensions) are always visible and there鈥檚 no blending with her natural hair.聽 I understand she鈥檚 鈥渆arthy鈥� sometimes, but c鈥檓on, cut-off聽 shorts, tiny tees, bare feet, bad extensions, visible roots and black liner? I really want to be on your side, Brit – hire a new stylist!

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen

Poor girls.聽 They are super cute and we can never see it!聽 So many times I see the efforts of 鈥渂ohemian,鈥� 聽turn out looking more like a 鈥渂ag lady.鈥� Don鈥檛 get me wrong, they sometimes hit, but unfortunately, it鈥檚 many more (messy) misses for me.
